After the removal of a large fort that dominated much of the playground the Kindergarten wanted to introduce a natural area with scope for water and messy play.

The swing bridge from the original fort was reused over the river.

A custom made bench catering for children of all ages with two different worktop heights.

An area was left free of stones to allow for wheelchair access to the river.
